Codex Pets are animated companions that live as floating overlays inside the Codex app. They appear alongside your active Codex sessions, moving and reacting as your tasks run.
Built-in pets are available directly in Codex under Settings > Appearance > Pets. Custom pets can be added as downloadable packages. CodexPets.net provides original custom pet examples you can browse, download, and use.
Get up and running in four steps.
Step 1
Choose a pet and download the ZIP package.
Step 2
Unzip the folder and keep the included pet.json nearby.
Step 3
Open Settings > Appearance > Pets and add the extracted package.
Step 4
Type /pet to wake or tuck away your active pet at any time.
